I received a complimentary paperback copy of The House of Bradbury by Nicole Meier from BookSparks and the publisher in exchange for my honest review. #BestSummerEver #SRC2016
The House of Bradbury is story that follows Mia Gladwell’s life that is quickly going nowhere. She is currently living in her sister’s carriage house, unemployed, unattached, and down in the dumps about the flop of her debut novel. When she learns that estate of the iconic Ray Bradbury is up for sale, she knows she just has to have it. She knows that living there will inspire her to write again, so she borrows the money from her ex-boyfriend Carson knowing their will probably be strings attached.
Shortly after moving in, Carson asks her for a “HUGE” favor, which involves taking in a new tenant who is a pill-popping young actress. Now Mia finds herself trying to balance her needy ex, a young, unpredictable starlet, and of course her disapproving sister. Mia starts to question whether moving into The House of Bradbury was really worth it!
